There are minimum requirements that we expect before buying your single cards, graded cards or collections.
These things include:
- Making sure your cards are in immaculate condition, as the condition is often the biggest defining factor in its value. We will accept cards in a poorer quality, but the price offered will be lower.
- Make sure your cards are clean and sleeved to prevent damage.
- And finally, your cards must be sorted! (All the right way around and sorted into sets, we will literally offer you a better price by sorting them, no joke, so much time is wasted just shuffling cards!)
-Your cards can only be evaluated in-store, we do not offer an online evaluation service.
We do not offer a flat rate on cards and instead prefer to evaluate cards on an individual bases. This does mean that the evaluation process can take a long time for some larger collections or for cards with a higher value.
We are currently accepting nearly all cards from all generations. This means everything from 1996 to present day.
Unfortunately we are not currently accepting bulk Commons, Un-commons, Trainers, Energy Cards or Holos as we have reached our limit for the time being.
If you are interested in selling your Pokémon cards please fetch them to the store! You can leave them with us for a few days while one of our dedicated "know it all's" evaluates your collection. Once sorted you will receive an automated text message to let you know they're ready!
Prior notice of a drop off is not necessary unless you have a sizable collection, we're talking multiple folders. It's not necessary, but a heads up is appreciated!
We do not accept fake cards or cards that are heavily damaged or soiled.
If you have any questions about selling your cards, pop in for a chat or give the store a call!
The three rules for spotting fake cards are;
- The colours are often heavily saturated or the holo foil is cheap looking and un-textured.
- The font of the text is wrong or there are spelling mistakes (Yes really, spelling mistakes).
- And finally if you look at the side of a Pokémon card a real card is a front and a back piece stuck together with black glue, where as fakes are often stamped out cardboard. If you have a keen eye you can spot the black line running through the centre of your card.
