#1 What's Click & Collect?
When you pick to pay online (or instore) for your items, you will have the option at checkout to come to the shop. We will look after your order until then.
Currently you can pop in during our normal opening hours!
#2 Once I place my order, how long will it be before you ship it?
We strive to get your stuff shipped within 48 hours of your order being placed (excluding Mondays as were closed and Sundays because the Post office is closed!). If you're ever concerned about your order, please get in touch!
(Additional note: Our local Post office branch no longer open's Saturday mornings so this means orders placed over the weekend will not be posted until Tuesday)
#3 How much IS your postage?
- Standard Shipping - £3.99 - Royal Mail 48hr tracked, insured & signed service or 2nd class depending on value. Turnaround time is 2 and 3 days respectively.
- Express Shipping - £11.99 - Royal Mail 24hr tracked, insured & signed service. Turnaround time is 1 to 2 days.
- Standard Shipping "Free over Fifty" - Free - Royal Mail 48hr tracked, insured & signed service or 2nd class depending on value. Turnaround time is 2 and 3 days respectively.
#4 Why does geckos require an E-Mail address/phone number at checkout?
You will receive E-Mail/SMS notifications when your parcel reaches different stages of the delivery process if it's sent via tracked mail. This is processed through Royal Mail. We won't use this information for anything else, as required by data protection laws.
#5 Do you accept returns?
Of course we do, if there's a problem with your order please get in touch!

#7 What's this I hear about free boosters and a loyalty scheme?
When you select "Collect in Person" at checkout and pop in the shop to collect your order you'll get a stamp on a loyalty card for every tenner you spend. Collect ten stamps and receive a free booster, that's it!
It's simplicity baffles even me..
#8 Why is stuff out of stock!
The sarcastic answer is we don't have it.
The non-sarcastic answer is the item was listed and then sold out, or the item was listed in anticipation of it becoming available or the item was listed as something we've had in the past and hope to get again in the future.
#9 Holy Moley, why is there so much tape on my box?
Ha, good luck getting into it. We subscribe to the moto, "treat people how you want to be treated yourself". And if I order something online, I want it wrapped, packed and protected enough that the postie can bowl it at my front door.
Honestly we use so much tape it's bordering on a fetish.
#10 Do you sell singles?
We do, in-store, we have thousands of the bloody things. But we haven't reached the level of self loathing required to list thousands of individual Pokémon singles online yet.
#11 Pokémon & TCG Pre-Orders
We operate on an honour based system for our pre-orders.
We do not require an upfront payment, deposit or percentage charge for collection orders, only that you honour your commitment to order something with us. Failure to do so will result in your name being black listed preventing further orders and our immediate disappointment in you. We only hold pre-orders for 7 calendar days. After this we may cancel your order, but only after numerous attempts to contact you.
(Note: This only applies to "Collection" orders due to the nature the website is designed and the checkout process. If you pre-Order something and want it posted you will unfortunately need to pay up front, but fortunately we only offer confirmed pre-orders, read below!)
We ONLY ever offer confirmed pre-orders after we have received our allocations from the distributor(s). We do not subscribe to the ideology that businesses should oversell to customers via pre-orders and then have to allocate products to said customers. Do right by us, and we'll do right by you.

#13 I had something in my basket, now it's gone!
Unfortunately, there is no "checkout timer" on our website.
An item is not guaranteed to you just because it's in your basket. It must be paid for for the website to register a transaction, and remove the item from the stock inventory. We know this can be frustrating when your trying to checkout with a highly sought after item in your basket and we're sorry about this.
#14 I've ordered an item that's a Pre-Order and another item that's in stock, what happens now?
We will hold onto the item that is in-stock until the pre-order item arrives. At that point we will ship both items together.
#14 Why the name "Geckos" and why the green lizard in a top hat mascot?
Do you have any idea how hard it is to come up with an original name for a shop? I didn't think you did. Stop questioning our life choices.
